ACTOR EUGENE LEVY TO BE HONORED WITH STAR ON THE HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME

Actor Eugene Levy will be honored with the 2,773rd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 11:30 am PT at 7080 Hollywood Blvd. Levy will receive his star in the category of Television.

Joining emcee Steve Nissen as speakers are actresses Catherine O’Hara and Sarah Levy.

Eugene Levy is an Emmy®-winning actor, producer, and writer, who is best known for his work on the record-breaking comedy series “Schitt’s Creek.” The role of Noah Levenstein in the American Pie franchise cemented his reputation as America’s favorite dad, while the box office success of his films, such as Bringing Down The House, Cheaper By the Dozen 2, and Father Of The Bride Part II, have established him as one of Hollywood’s most popular comedic actors.

Currently, Levy serves as host and executive producer of “The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy” for Apple TV+, a non-scripted series that follows Levy as he visits some of the world’s most beautiful and intriguing destinations, making new friends and uncovering hidden local gems.

In 2013, Levy and his son Daniel co-created “Schitt’s Creek,” a beloved television series for CBC/Pop, in which he also starred and executive-produced. The single-cam, character-driven comedy also starred an ensemble cast including Catherine O’Hara, Annie Murphy, and Chris Elliott. “Schitt’s Creek” has received countless nominations and award wins to date.

Levy has been an outspoken and active member in the community by supporting several charities and foundations such as Food Banks Canada and Feeding America which helped provide food during the COVID-19 crisis. He has also raised funds for the Palisades YMCA for scholarships and community youth projects. He has been honored by The Creative Community For Peace and also has been honored with the fifth annual Robin Williams Legacy of Laughter Award.
