AAM Profile: The Apopka International Jazz Festival

The Apopka International Jazz Festival is a one day event, featuring world renown Contemporary Jazz and R&B artists that brings to you a warm and hospitable experience all the while giving back to youth programs that help to enrich their lives through music. By attending this event, portion of ticket proceeds go to off set the cost of band fees, uniforms and instruments to students in the Apopka community. This event takes place rain or shine!
The Festival is at the Apopka Amphitheater with a capacity of 6,300 people. Aside from rows of covered, fixed seating, guests are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on the recreational complex’s grass field. With a 180-degree view of the stage, event coordinators assure the music can be enjoyed from anywhere at the venue.
Besides the concert entertainment, the festival will include food trucks with a wide selection of cuisines, and vendors selling merchandise and handmade products. Family-friendly opportunities such as arts and crafts will be offered as well. Seating is first-come, first-serve. The festival goes on – rain or shine.
The Jazz Festival is produced by ZnL Productions, highly regarded among those they have collaborated within local governments and communities, in addition to having forged a solid reputation among their industry colleagues as world-class music event producers based on the tremendously successful 2019 Davie Jazz Festival and Apopka International Jazz Festivals they singularly executed in February of 2020 and again in March 2022.
Zita and Lori merge internationally known musical entertainers, local bands, diverse food vendors as well as fine art and crafts artisans in a delightful environment that is fun, relaxing and creates lasting memories for all those who attend.
ZnL is recognized as a preeminent force in the music production arena and obtained 501(c)3 status in 2021. Their mission is to support youth programs that are interested in the arts in cities their events are held.
