Media Personality and Book Club President Cyrus Webb Shares Gift of Books with Celebrities Nationwid

While sharing the stories of celebrities around the country, radio and tv show host/book club President Cyrus Webb leaves the gift of books along the way.

BRANDON, Miss. - Feb. 9, 2020 - PRLog -- While traveling the country interviewing movers and shakers for his radio show Conversations LIVE and television show Cyrus Webb Presents, Mississippi native Cyrus Webb is not just sharing stories with the world. He is also sharing the importance and power of reading. In each city Webb leaves gift bags for his guests that include books by authors he has enjoyed reading and is able to share with others.

Aside from his work in media, Webb is also the President of the co-ed book club called Conversations Book Club that has hosted over 300 author-related events since 2006. In 2018 he opened up the door for authors to have their work included in his celebrity gift bags for his guests, and the response has been amazing.

"The guests have been surprised by the books," Webb says. "Some of them have told me they are perfect not just for themselves but someone in their family." Celebs who have received the gift bags include actress Renee Lawless (Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots), actor Travis Cure (Tyler Perry's The Oval), actor Michael Welch (Twilight/Z Nation) and actress Shanti Lowry (Bronx SIU/Family Time).

Webb sees it as a win-win. "It's an opportunity for authors to share their work with Influencers around the country, and it gives Influencers the opportunity to experience authors and books they may not have discovered otherwise."

Some of the featured authors have been Linda Diane Wattley, Dennis Perkins, Thearthur Duncan, Tracie O'Neil Horton, Tina Siemens, Jodi Lea Stewart, Mary Ellen Ciganovich, Dr. Teresa A. Smith, Debbie Nau Redmond, T. M. Brown, A. Shane Etter, Glenda L. Hunter and Calogero Bradley.

One of the biggest surprises for Webb has been the way the celebrities have taken it upon themselves to share pictures with the books on their social media. It's just another way to share the gift of reading, and it is Webb's hope that it will encourage others to do the same.
